Five Vintage Beauty Tips That Are Quick, Easy And Home Made!

Hi Beauties!

I am having a major case of Monday blues today!

The weeks feel so long the weekends feel so short. Can they be in reverse? Five day weekend? Two day work week? Who is with me?

Today i have five vintage beauty tips for you all. They are all home remedies which are ofcourse amazing and i find more effective than some store brought products.

As you can tell because i have done two similar posts here - home remedies for dry skin and here - 7 budget beauty tips and tricks

Brighten Your Smile
Baking Soda + A Strawberry

Mix together and apply mixture on teeth. Leave for 5 minutes then rinse and brush as normal and voila pearly whites!

Dark Circles Be Gone
A spring of mint leaves!

Chop and crush the mint leaves and apply them under your eyes. After 20 minutes rinse and watch the lifted darkness!

Skin Clarifying Exfoliate
Tbs of Raw Sugar + Tbs of White sugar + 2 Tbs of Coconut Oil + 2 Strawberry's

Combine into a bowl and mash until paste like. I know i have mention this scrub a few times but for people on a buget i swear by it. It has all the same effects as a store brought exfoliate. Plus its even better for your skin and smells divine!

Bye Bye Cellulite
1/2 Cup Of Ground Coffee + 2 Tpbs of Olive oil

First off ladies, this is messy so i recommend doing this standing in the bath or shower (no water running) So what you do is mix the Olive oil into the coffee in a bowl and microwave for 15 seconds and give it another mix. Let it sit for a few minutes in-case it gets too hot and apply on the problem areas. Then wrap it in plastic cling wrap (The stuff you use to wrap up your sandwiches) and leave on for 20 minutes. This works best 2-3 times a week for 6 weeks for the best results.

Puffy Eyes
Egg Whites

Should we call this souffle for the face? I know it sounds odd but if you whip up 1 or 2 egg whites until they are stiff and apply with a soft cloth under eyes and let it sit for 20-30 minutes then was off and it actually makes your skin look less puffy and feel tighter.

Has anyone tried these? I love using mint under my eyes i really feel like it lifts the darkness. I always do this before i have a shower to avoid walking around smelling like a mint or as i say toothpaste smelling all day.

Thanks for reading.
Is there anything you would like me to talk about in future posts?
